Kate Toomey takes over from Rick Holzer as IBLC Chair
On 11 September 2022, the IBLC AGM approved Kate Toomey’s assumption of the IBLC Chair. Kate had been nominated by the IBLC Nominations Committee from an initial field of six and then three shortlisted candidates. After being endorsed by the IBLC Council, her nomination was approved by the IBLC AGM.
Kate has served on the IBLC Council since 2018. She has been the primary IBLC representative of Lewis Baach Kaufmann Middlemiss (Washington DC) for over a decade, and serving as the firm’s managing the partner in recent years.
Kate takes over from Rick Holzer, who has steered IBLC through the pandemic the past three years.
